A cropped, lightweight MA-1 flight jacket with a Tibetan-style asymmetrical closure and internal carry straps, parading a vivid Boro Origami Cranes all-over print with hand-machine embroidered highlights.
Completed with hi-vis orange lining and brass zippers. The artwork is inspired by boro, a Japanese style of patch repairing and re-stitching heavily worked garments in the Edo period, when recycling was a necessity.

Non-organic cotton covers 2.5% of the world’s cultivated land but uses nearly half of the world’s pesticides (including herbicides, insecticides, and defoliants), more than any other single major crop. Organic production in cotton farming is utilised to avoid this damaging practice and to promote and enhance biodiversity and biological cycles. The perennial use of organic cotton aims to raise awareness and contribute to the reduced use of pesticides in the production of clothing materials. Every Maharishi collection utilises sweat and jersey grown without toxic pesticides or synthetic fertilisers.
