Gorp gorp, White mountaineering is on the move again and encourages all to tag along. Regarding the Autumn/Winter 2021 collection the brand's founder and designer Yosuke Aizawa notions that "particularly in times of trouble it is important to stay true to yourself and find your way to the white mountain". The first drops from this new collection have landed at Concrete Store, featuring surprising collabs with UGG, Millet and Gramicci.

Gorpcore – the style focused around outdoors-inspired gear (it's name referring to a trail-mix of Good Ol' Raisins and Peanuts) – has been steadily expanding, partly due to front runners such as White Mountaineering continuously pushing forward. Not interested in collecting dust or snow it presents a collection featuring new mixes of high performance textiles including a GoreTex fabric. Updating its environmental approach, A/W 2021 goes big with eco-polyester and eco-fleece and has started taken steps to incorporate more sustainable materials in upcoming collections.
