Colville started out in 2018 by Marni's Molly Molloy and British Vogue's Lucinda Chambers, taking its name from the a London street David Hockney frequented in the 1970's. The collections breathe a nostalgia to the natural, with a focus on movement, grounded colors and textures as well as longevity in its construction and production ethos. Large parts of collections are created by sourcing and reworking used garments, having them completed by the human touch of local artisans or women’s collectives in Colombia, Mexico and Madagascar.
