This transformable Gas Mask Woven Skirt from _JULIUS is built as a modular cargo piece that shifts between skirt, trouser and draped outer layer. A full-length two-way zip runs centrally both along the front and back, allowing the panels to open from the hem to the waist. Straps with buttonholes at the lower sections can be fastened together to create articulated legs, turning the skirt into a wide cargo pant-like silhouette. When unzipped and opened out, the piece can also be wrapped and draped over the shoulders as a sculptural jacket or shawl. Multiple-layered cargo pockets with snap and button closures sit along the hips and thighs, while additional straps at the hem and sides add further structure and adjustment. Cut from coated 100% cotton, the fabric has a crisp hand and utilitarian sheen.
