MHI was launched in 2001 as a sister label to the ground breaking luxury streetwear label maharishi. It has since etched its own distinct identity while maintaining the same level of quality and detailing that maharishi is famous for.

Through its established guest artist programme, MHI has collaborated with leading contemporary artists including Neville Brody, Mellow Hype, Mark Gonzales, Mode2, Henry Chalfant, Jean Michel Basquiat , Futura 2000, RoStarr, and Michael Lau.
