Haroshi is a self-taught Tokyo based artist primarily known for making sculptures out of used skateboards, fusing the domains of counter movement, pop-culture and fine art.
With a legacy in fashion and culture stretching back more than 30 years, Hiroshi Fujiwara is commonly referred to as the godfather of streetwear. As maker, fire starter and/or connector Fujiwara has at least one foot in every corner of contemporary fashion. As a true lifestyle candy-man he is able to push any thing and turn it into coveted collectibles. Whether it is from Nike’s HTM, Fragment Design or one of his many other pockets, Hiroshi has created a new world and turned all of us into junkies.
