A new shipment of Walter van Beirendonck items is hitting our stores at the same time as we are finalizing an interview with the designer. A good time to take a second look at his latest collection, and to shop before the good times have gone.

Walter Van Beirendonck mixes seriousness with humor, wild shapes with subtle details. His A/W 2020 collection offered a wide range of silhouettes, spiky, puffy, square, body hugging and oversized. In order to express his concerns regarding various human behaviors he chose to go loud: contrasting bright, shiny, colorful patterns and texts to state his messages: "Save Planet Earth" – "Demand Beauty" – "Stop Racism” – "Demand Freedom" – “Stop Violation of Privacy Now”, and other personal concerns most of us can relate to.
