Unbearable Pleasures
Medicom Toy

I've been waiting for a guide to come and take me by the hand. Could these sensations make me feel the pleasures of a normal man? Lose sensation, spare the insults, leave them for another day. I've got the spirit, lose the feeling, take the shock away...

1979 brought forward Joy Division's debut album Unknown Pleasure. Dark, brooding, intense, almost nihilistic, yet so very danceable. The record's famous album cover was designed by Peter Saville. The mysterious logo on the sleeve was taken from a book found by Joy Division guitarist Bernard Sumner in the Manchester Library, while on a lunch break. The diagram is a plot of the waves emitted by the first radio pulsar ever discovered, back in 1967, which ended up in the Cambridge Encyclopedia of Astronomy.

For all those that currently find themselves in unbearable routines, Medicom Toy teamed up with Joy Division Sync. to offer hoodies and t-shirts featuring the Unknown Pleasure's classic album cover design. In black, white and reflective print. Medicom Toy is a Japanese brand that specialized in limited edition action figures and pop art collectables, such as their popular BE@RBRICK series, vinyl bear-shaped figures imprinted with different designs.

I've got the spirit, but lose the feeling
I've got the spirit, but lose the feeling
Feeling, feeling, feeling, feeling
Feeling, feeling, feeling
