One of our favorite brands in our collection. maharishi has been a standard staple in our store for quite a while. Founded in 1994 by Hardy Blechman with the great vision to create environmentally sound, fair-trade produced, long-lasting, high-quality, utilitarian clothing. The collections have always included the strong natural fibre hemp as well as organic cottons and upcycled military clothing. maharishi is still a privately owned company, and maintains a strong ethos of respect for nature while utilising the latest technology.
Walter van Beirendonck
The big, tough-but-sweet bearded biker from Antwerp has a special place in our heart at Concrete. We've been stocking his collections for over a decade and continue to get his collections into our stores as one of our most prized possessions.
Walter van Beirendonck is still one of the most surprising and quirky designers around. You don't wear his clothes, his clothes wear you. The legendary Antwerp Six member goes all-out for FW19 with color-patched tailoring, knits, semi-sheer dress, cashmere coats and fake fur coats. His regular man-with-beard-and-penis branding and usage of gimp masks was toned down this season but the collection still was unmistakably 100% Walter.
