Walter van Beirendonck's new Spring / Summer 2021 collection ‘MIRROR’ dives into the dilemmas and adventures of entering uncharted territory. The designer investigates ways to navigate a realm in which archaic ethics accumulated academic accolades are not equipped to guarantee safe passage. As our cultivated control mechanisms crack we might need to turn to options western culture has always been taught to dismiss: beads. And mirrors. And pins.

Walter van Beirendock's ‘MIRROR’ reflects our unprecedented times in which we have perhaps over-cultivated certain parts of ourselves and our surroundings. Fortunately every question has an answer as Walter introduces five action-ready necklaces, created for protection from evil forces. No manual needed, just a bit of trust in the nature of things.
