MEDICOM TOY, founded in Tokyo 1996, specializes in creating toys and other collectables. After recent collabs with GELATO PIQUE and YOHJI YAMAMOTO, the brand brings a very interesting limited edition by teaming up with ROBE JAPONICA, a traditional Kimono and Yukata shop from Tokyo's Harajuku disctrict. ROBE JAPONICA combines Japanese traditional kimonos with updated fabrics and prints to create contemporary outfits. The collab collection consists of a beauty case, various Be@rbricks, a traditional Kinchaku bag and a kimono robe. All donned with cats, bears, flying insects and mirrors, which could be a peaceful mix or lead to quite a symphonic clash.
