Japanese footwear and accessories label Hender Scheme was launched in 2010  in the Asakusa district in Tokyo by Ryo Kashiwazaki. The designer and craftsman is interested in designing beyond gender’s social and cultural expectations and has become well known for his artisanal reproductions of iconic sneakers. Concrete Store's latest Hender Scheme drop features three of these models, the Air Force 1 (MIP 01), the German Army Trainer (MIP 10) and the Birkenstock sandal (MIP 24), all crafted in vegetable-tanned leather and hand-sewn using traditional constructions.
