Internet myth NISHIMOTO IS THE MOUTH started out by Katsutoshi Nishimoto having fun with friends, creating projects that navigate between underground and overground. One of these activities involved printing t-shirts and handing them out to whoever was interested as well as all those who weren't. The initial theme revolved around a fictional religion with all its deranging dogmas and doctrines. Because the shirts donned Nishimoto's as its prophet, it was decided to name the project NISHIMOTO IS THE MOUTH.
